SSSCCRRL 2025
A Better (we hope) Grassroots Racing Offer for Women
Entry Now Open for July 17th!
SSSCCRRL Round 6 hosted by Mid Shropshire Wheelers/Halesowen Academy
We’re committed to building a better grassroots road racing offer for women and the final round of the SSSCCRRL Handicap Racing League is a key part of that plan.
Taking place on Thursday 17th July, this event features one of the flattest road race courses around, with a great HQ location and a welcoming race-day atmosphere.
What is Handicap Racing?
Handicap racing is designed to create competitive racing across all ability levels. Riders are grouped by experience and ability, with staggered start times to allow for balanced and engaging racing – all at a lower price point and in a more relaxed setting.
For This Final Round, We’re Introducing:
- £10 entry fee for women riders
- Female mentors in Group 1 to support newer riders
- Four start groups instead of three, giving us more flexibility to match riders appropriately
This event is hosted in collaboration with Mid Shropshire Wheelers and Halesowen A&CC.
